Self branding

With a new design for this site on the horizon ive been looking into self branding with thanks to Lea at lealea design :) It is a very interesting read and ive been aplying some of the techniques she has been writing about. I began by asking a selection of people to choose 3 words to describe me and it was very interesting to see what others thought. What was interesting was like what Lea wrote, no matter their relationship with me or length of time, they already had a few distinct impressions of me. Dilligent, spritely and friendly were some of the words that were used to describe me. Of course funky was also used but mostly due to the name of the site which has stuck inside peoples minds. This is something i want to continue as I have managed to create a name brand for myself. Dilligent, spritely and friendly were some of the words that were used to describe me. Creating brands for others is one thing and I agree with Lea that self-branding is often an exercise in torture. I think it is much harder when the design is for a portfolio site as it needs to appeal to a wide audience. Dilligent, spritely and friendly were some of the words that were used to describe me.
