Im looking into footprints as in the footprint that you leave on life.
one aspect of it is sayings and the influence of others.
i need to know lots of sayings that you may of been told when you were younger or even recently from your parents or grandparents and ones that you might say to your friends or to your children if you have any.
please can you state what the saying is and who it is told to/from
ill start it off with:
parents: were you born in a barn?
parents: the best things in life are free.
Friends: Cheer up it might never happen.
Friends: shot gun not (a classic one).
Grandparents: life is a box of chocolates…

dad- ‘what a muck and fuddle’
dad- ‘as much use as a chocolate fire guard’
mum- ‘what ever doesnt kill you makes you stronger’
dad- ‘couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery’
grandma -’what’s sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander’
grandma- ‘a rolling stone gathers no moss’

granparents: He’s gay as a bird

parents: Different strokes for different folks
friends: I’m so tired I’ve gone gay
friends: 2s’up on that, mate
parents: if the wind changes you’ll stay like that (said when pulling a face)
parents: don’t sit on that cold step, you’ll get piles
